CLOSED in 2007/2008
One of the older shops in Tucson, most shooters know about the store, but here's a quick tour for anyone who might have overlooked this gun shop tucked in off the street on the south side of Pima between Swan and Craycroft
Accessories are hung from everywhere so give yourself some time to look around, cleaning, reloading, lights, cases and much more are on display
Target, Magazine Loaders, Shell Holders, Gun Cases and lots more. Spend some time looking around the walls you might just find an item you didn't know you needed
Unfortunately, WotP closed it's doors at the beginning of the new year.
I had noticed their used stock slowly going downhill (I must have bought over two dozen guns from them over the years, from 1994 to 2003), and figured the end was coming.
It's a shame, because this shop held it's own during Jensen's heydays in the late 80s through the mid-90s, with wonderful prices and a great used selection. I guess the current owners no longer had their hearts in it.
We purchased a gun from them in december for our son. The man working there said to bring it back if it didn't work. They failed to tell us that they would not be there to warranty the gun. Now we have a gun that doesn't work. The least they could have done was leave a phone number to call for the guns they already sold. If anyone knows how to get ahold of the owners I would really like to talk to them.
