The nearly 200-member team in Exeter takes great pride in designing, building, and constantly refining the finest firearms in the world. Through its extensive product lines SIGARMS serves a wide range of global markets for elite quality pistols, rifles and shotguns, providing some of the most innovative designs in the markets. Today, SIG SAUER pistols are relied upon by the most renowned law enforcement agencies on earth, as well as by elite military units such as the U.S..Navy SEALs and the British Special Air Service (SAS). The State Police and Highway Patrol agencies of 18 US states carry SIGARMS pistols. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, which includes the US Coast Guard, recently conferred a $27.9 million contract, the largest non-military handgun procurement in US history, upon SIGARMS. SIGARMS, through the extensive service experience of its employees, possesses a wealth of institutional experience in the law enforcement and military applications of firearms. Perhaps prime among the diverse ways this experience benefits the Company's markets is through the offerings of its world-class educational facility, The SIGARMS Academy. Co-located with the manufacturing facility in Exeter, the Academy offers an extensive curriculum in law enforcement and military firearms skills, as well as diverse offerings in the safe and effective management of firearms for civilians. On an extensive complex of indoor and outdoor ranges at its Epping facility, the Academy provides customized training in security subjects for corporate customers and law enforcement agencies on a contract basis.
